Crazy Ant
The crazy ant is a notorious organism as not only has it invaded most countries and not recognized countries in the world because of their adaptability. This ant received it's name because of their erratic and unpredictable movements, as they do not march in lines like most other types of ants. The ants have been introduced to the Sahara by transportation of fresh produce as the ants hitchhiked with the cargo. These ants have a habit of out competing other ants and invertebrates. They also love to make nests in human habituated areas as they can be http://www.myrmecos.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/fulva6j.jpg found in cracks in concrete and close to homes.

Brown Musk Shrew
The brown musk shrew is also a very adaptable species. As it normally is transported to other countries unknowingly, many suspect it was transported to the Sahara Desert in the cargo of ships of planes as it is how they are typically accidentally transported. The brown musk shrew repopulate at a fast pace and can soon out compete other small mammals and decimate the insect and plant population. Because the shrew's predators usually consist of mainly owls, the lack of them in the Sahara aide in the shrew's re-population rate. http://www.biodiversityexplorer.org/mammals/eulipotyphla/images/231385905_658w.jpg
